When you need to reach us for an emergency or after-hours problem, please call the office and either follow the instructions for reaching the physician or give the answering service the information they request. The physician on-call will be given this information and will return your call as soon as possible.
In the event of a dire, life-threatening emergency, you should proceed directly to the emergency room and identify yourself as a Stone Mountain Health Services patient. They will contact the physician on call.
Fees
Stone Mountain Health Services’ fees are comparable to other health care providers in our area. Discounts are provided to eligible patients and are made possible by federal funds through grants from the U.S. Public Health Service. These grants make it possible to serve patients on a sliding-fee scale.
A sliding-fee scale is a low-cost payment plan available to qualified individuals and families. Qualification is based on household income, (proof of total household income must be provided), among other factors.
The grant funds cover only a portion of our costs. The continued operation of our health center depends upon the collection of fees for our services. Stone Mountain Health Services also accepts assignment of benefits from Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance.
